5 To test BuzzBox, make sure its switches are on, then press

the printer’s Online key.

»Note:

You can set the switches in one of the following ways:

 Set the buzzer On and the light Off

 Set the light On and the buzzer Off

 Set both the buzzer and the light On

The light flashes and the buzzer sounds until the printer is placed

back on line or until the light and buzzer switches are turned off.

 When BuzzBox lights or buzzes, check the printer message win-

dow to find out what has interrupted printing. See chapter 6,

“Trouble-Shooting,” of the

Operations

manual for a list of printer

messages and how to respond to them.

 Remember that pressing the Online key to enter the printer con-

figuration menu will turn on BuzzBox.


