This chapter provides the installation instructions for the face-up tray, duplexer, enve-

lope feeder, High-Capacity Input Feeder, high-capacity output stacker, security key,

and BuzzBox Lite warning light/buzzer.

The face-up tray enables you to print to the side exit of the printer. Your documents

are stacked in the tray with the first page facing up. There are two ways to install the

face-up tray: without a duplexer installed or with a duplexer installed on the printer.



1 Unpack the face-up

tray and find these

parts:





 Face-up tray





 Thumbscrews

2 Attach the connect-

ing plate to the

printer, using the two

thumbscrews.
